Located in PMQ, Central, Pasteako is an Italian restaurant specialising in 21-day dry-aged steaks and handmade pasta. Its lunch set is priced at HK$188 and includes a steak, handmade pasta, and dessert. The dinner set features the restaurant’s signature Pasta Time, where fresh pasta is served every 30 minutes, creating an experience similar to an all-you-can-eat pasta feast.
Handmade Pasta
Pasta is another highlight, with up to 10 pasta options and 55 possible combinations across the lunch and dinner menus.
For lunch, the pesto gnocchi is a great choice, with an aromatic basil flavour and pleasantly chewy potato gnocchi. The spicy tomato penne is also enjoyable, offering a refreshing balance of acidity and spice without feeling overly heavy.
For dinner, try the truffle pappardelle or Four Cheese Pasta. The creamy truffle sauce is rich but well balanced, allowing the truffle and milky flavours to complement each other. The pappardelle has a lovely eggy flavour and works beautifully with different sauces.
The Four Cheese Pasta is richer and thicker, with four different cheeses creating a satisfying and indulgent flavour.
One of Pasteako’s signature features is Pasta Time during dinner. Every 30 minutes, servers walk around the restaurant and offer guests a randomly selected pasta dish essentially creating an all-you-can-eat pasta experience.
